A pot of tea
-
One of the best remedies for the cold, is a big pot of tea. Just the act of holding something warm in your hands has benefits on your mental and physical health. Full of antioxidents, tea has the power to boost your immune system as well, an added bonus in a season when germs are constantly going around. A beautiful teapot, and a favorite mug, the act of making tea can be just as theraputic as the physical consumption of it.

A hot bath
Not only do baths warm you up, but also relieve sore muscles, can relieve cold and flu symptoms, and help sooth irritated and dry skin. A handful of Epsom salts, a few drops of lavender oil, and half a cup of baking soda once a week draws out toxins, lowers stress related hormones, and balances your PH levels.
