Notary Ceramics at Farmette with Kay Studio
We had the absolute pleasure of being invited to a floral workshop with By Kay Studio at the breathtaking property of Farmette. We were greeted by Hayley, masterful rose gardener, who directed us to her serene Barn where a drink was offered to each of us. We strolled through the rows of budding and blooming roses toward the idyllic back patio that was illuminated by market lights strung overhead and overlooked outstretched farmland with the ever majestic Mt Hood directly in view.

We were led through a truly inspirational demonstration by Kaylee of By Kay Studio, where she effortlessly assembled a wild, garden-like scene in her low Notary Ceramics bowl. We were offered a unique selection of blooms to work with, the dreamiest subdued color pallette and permission to try it all.

We each brought a Notary vessel with us. Sarah built her arrangement in our new matte white Virgo Vase, Tina made use of a sand utensil holder, and I added my wild stems to a matte grey trefoil pitcher.

Some of the greatest guidance Kaylee offered us was to just go for it: overdo it, make it big, let it be wild. You can always remove stems or leaves, so why not see what happens when you add that extra bloom there?

This entire evening was an absolute treat. We had to pinch each other a few times to believe we were actually gifted the opportunity to attend such a gorgeous gathering.
We absolutely plan to invite both Kaylee with her masterful arranging, and Hayley with her beautiful roses, into the storefront very soon, but be sure to follow along with them directly in order to be kept up to date on their unique and beautifully crafted offerings. You will not regret it.
